Madi Folstad, LCSW-A

Supporting clients virtually across NC.

I’m Madi Folstad, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) dedicated to supporting adults as they navigate relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, major life transitions, low self-esteem, and identity questions. I have a particular passion for helping individuals explore relationship patterns, improve communication, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections in their lives.

I am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive space for individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, where all identities and experiences are respected and supported. My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, creating a safe environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to show up as your full self.

Together, we’ll work to build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you move through your challenges with greater clarity and resilience, while fostering deeper connection—both with yourself and in your relationships—so you can live a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and aligned with who you are.
