Anna Brown, LCSW-A

Supporting clients virtually across NC.

Hi, I’m Anna and I’m really glad you’re here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate passionate about creating a therapeutic dynamic where clients feel seen, heard, and honored for who they truly are. I work primarily with preteens, teenagers, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and focused on creating a safe space for you to explore your emotions, make connections, recognize patterns, and plan your own next steps.

I utilize DBT, CBT, and ACT concepts and skills in my work with clients to identify values, increase mindfulness, and implement effective coping skills. I often encourage clients to lean into curiosity in both their relationships with themselves and others as this is often the antidote to judgement, guilt, and shame. I also work with clients to increase self-compassion and values-based decision making to create a full, dynamic life and make choices they are proud of, even in times of emotional suffering.
